About
Stamford’s Primary Civic Organization
Mission.
The Stamford Partnership is a public-private-partnership working to enhance the quality of life for those who live and work in Stamford, Connecticut.
The Partnership is part convener, part think tank, part incubator. It brings together a wide spectrum of constituencies and stakeholders to identify needs, resources and opportunities to engage leadership and prompt action to improve the city’s quality of life. It is a catalyst for debate and discussion, and initiates civic projects through public, community, and private sector collaborations.
Vision.
We believe in the power of bringing citizens, organizations, stakeholders, and policymakers together to chart the future of our region. We work with public officials, on strategies related to community-wide issues; we act as a catalyst for civic action, and we serve as a conduit for the application of private sector resources for civic purposes. We create the roadmap of the future of Stamford by engaging our community in key policy areas.
