The City of Stamford and numerous stakeholders have banded together to create the COVID-19 Community Support fund. With support of our government, corporate citizens, non-profits, and humanitarian organizations we aim to support and uplift our community in this time of unprecedented challenges.

Big Impact

Through our grants, The COVID-19 Community Support Funds enables organizations and their volunteers to provide meals and food.

Support for our community when its needed most​

The fund’s disbursements are used to:​

  • Support Seniors. Expand support to seniors through community meal programs that also seek to reduce social isolation (while managing public health risks) for aging people.
  • Help School-aged Children. Continue the Stamford Public Schools Grab and Go Food Program, which delivers 15,000 meals a week to families in need.
  • Testing. Provide free COVID-19 testing for Stamford residents, often low-income, who may have difficulty accessing testing and arranging for self-quarantine.
  • Food Security. Support Food Security programs for individuals and families in Stamford
