Why Data & Analytics?
Data and analytics expertise is the fourth industrial revolution’s foundation. Expertise in this field is the core capability that will propel Connecticut’s economic competitiveness in the future with Stamford at its forefront. Stamford, and Connecticut as a whole, has voluminous talent in data and analytics. However, talented individuals need a social and network home – that’s where the DALN comes in.
We address the biggest issues facing data leaders today from technical to business to human resources. The group enables and fosters access to the networks, resources, and representation that will advance the industry.
How it Works
Supporting you, your company, and the industry.
The DALN meets monthly to hear from industry leaders on a specific and relevant topic or theme, with networking opportunities before and/or after the event. Updates, issues, and new opportunities will also be brought up as necessary. The DALN is run by a steering committee of the Stamford Partnership consisting of local professionals in the field.

FAQ
Right now, no. Eventually there will be small, annual membership fee (~ $100). Individuals that join the group prior to the annual fee’s initiation are grandfathered in to a complimentary first year. Monthly events are run at cost and will generally cost $20-$50 depending the scale of the event.
In general, the DALN will not advocate against any issue. Rather, we will pick 1-3 strategic opportunities per year and advocate for their success. At present, the group is looking to support the creation of a Data Science Institute based in Stamford, expanded course offerings in advanced areas of data science and artificial intelligence, and investments in creating a more robust talent pool in the region.
