How it Works
The DALN meets monthly to hear from industry leaders on a specific theme. Before or after the events there is networking. If there is an opportunity or update on an issue the group is advocating for there will be a brief, separate presentation or discussion. The DALN is run by a steering committee of the Stamford Partnership. If you are interested in joining that committee please indicate that in the ‘note’ section of the application form.
FAQ
Right now, no. Eventually there will be small, annual membership fee (~ $100). Individuals that join the group prior to the annual fee’s initiation are grandfathered in to a complimentary first year. Monthly events are run at cost and will generally cost $20-$50 depending the scale of the event.

In general, the DALN will not advocate against any issue. Rather, we will pick 1-3 strategic opportunities per year and advocate for their success. At present, the group is looking to support the creation of a Data Science Institute based in Stamford, expanded course offerings in advanced areas of data science and artificial intelligence, and investments in creating a more robust talent pool in the region.
