Empowering Changemakers: Celebrating the Success of the Dream Up Grant Program

The Stamford Partnership is dedicated to supporting and empowering the changemakers in our community. We believe in the power of local initiatives and that supporting individuals who drive positive change builds a stronger Stamford for all. Recently, we had the privilege of awarding the Dream Up Grant, a meaningful initiative aimed at fostering innovation and empowering BIPOC changemakers in Stamford.

During the Dream Up Grant ceremony, we had the pleasure of awarding a total of $15,000 to three remarkable individuals and organizations who demonstrated an unwavering commitment to their causes. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the following winners:

100 Black Men of Stamford

The 100 Black Men of Stamford, Inc., a non-profit community action organization, has been instrumental in improving educational and economic conditions for African Americans and others in need. Through scholarships and mentoring programs, they continue to make a lasting impact on the lives of Stamford’s youth.

The Dream Up Grant Award Ceremony was a memorable event where we celebrated the accomplishments of our winners and their ongoing contributions. The ceremony featured esteemed guest Mayor Simmons, who delivered inspiring words recognizing the recipients’ dedication and achievements. It was a momentous occasion that showcased the power of collaboration and community support.

As we reflect on the success of the Dream Up Grant Program, we are excited about the opportunities that lie ahead. We encourage aspiring changemakers to stay tuned for the upcoming fall Dream Up application period. This will be another chance for visionaries and innovators to receive funding for their projects and initiatives that can shape the future of Stamford.

The Dream Up Grant Program has not only provided financial support but has also served as a platform to amplify the voices and efforts of the remarkable individuals and organizations making a difference in our community. We are immensely proud of the winners and their ongoing contributions to Stamford.
